FMW Nonprofit Solutions (“FMW”) was founded by three women with a combined 90+ years of experience working in the nonprofit sector and helping start-up nonprofits that focus on justice and equity missions. Since then, we have grown our team to support a full spectrum of community and client services.

What is Fiscal Sponsorship?
Fiscal Sponsors provide financial management and oversight services for organizations that do not have their own tax-exempt status. Working with a fiscal sponsor enables organizations to raise funds and apply for grants using FMW’s tax-exempt status.

How it Works
Step 1
Inquire
Send us a message via our contact form.
We will get back to you to schedule a consultation meeting.
Step 2
Consultation
We will schedule a 45-60 minute Zoom meeting with you, to learn more about you and your organization, your goals, and for us to tell you more about FMW and the services we offer.
Step 3
Fit Assessment
Both you & FMW will have the opportunity to review the information from our Zoom consultation to determine if we are a good fit for each other, & to decide if we are both interested in entering a fiscal sponsor relationship.
Step 4
Agreement
FMW prepares a fiscal sponsor agreement and sends it out for signature.
Once fully signed, we will send out information to pay the initial setup fee.
Step 5
Onboarding
You receive copies of such documents as FMW’s tax-exempt letter, donation options for donors, etc.; we mail you a welcome package. We will set up a meeting to discuss documents, access to our website portal and donation platform options.
Step 6
Active Partnership
To quote Jean-Luc Picard, “Engage!”
